Pimax oversees the concept, development, and production of its own VR headsets. From the biggest idea to the smallest printboard, we manage and control everything. We have been doing so, since the launch of the 4K in 2015.
Pimax was the first VR manufacturer to put 4K resolution in a headset, and after that 8K resolution, and soon 12K.
We were the first to reach 200 degrees field of view, and the first to use glass lenses in a VR headset. We're pushing for wireless VR with 17 million pixels. We do things that big multinationals wouldn't even think about.
Our current models are based on the Reality Series, with the Crystal, Crystal Light, and Crystal Super, all sharing key technology such as SLAM algorithm, glass lenses and ultra-high resolution QLED panels.
Tried and tested
We've been growing hard since Pimax's extremely successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017, raising nearly 4.3 million USD, a Guinness World Record.
We have since received multiple investment rounds to further innovate in VR and push boundaries — collecting dozens of accolades on the journey, such as the 2024 CES Innovation Award.

3. Together with the community
Our user's contributions are a key part of our achievements. Pimax is built on the principle of co-creation with our users. We go much farther in this than other companies. In the early product development of each headset, we do roadshows and exhibitions to get user feedback directly, and we use online communities and beta tests for further feedback. We also invite content creators to review our products to reach a wider audience, and learn from them. This approach to co-creation with users has been the cornerstone of Pimax's success over the past nine years.
